Allen Grant


Allen received his Bachelor’s degree with honors from Middle Tennessee State University and his law degree from the University of Memphis.  A member of the Tennessee Bar, he is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.  Following law school, he served in Nashville as an Assistant District Attorney General specializing in vehicular crimes, and has since spent numerous years dedicated to the defense of workers’ compensation claims.  Allen concentrates his practice on defending workers’ compensation cases, including subrogation, and other related labor and employment matters.  He has handled cases before the Tennessee Supreme Court Workers Compensation Panel, notably Patterson v. Prime Package & Label, in which the Tennessee Supreme Court found the new Tennessee pain management laws in favor of the Employer/Insurer.  An experienced litigator, Allen has participated in numerous jury trials and hundreds of hearings and mediations.
