Qualifications

Rico received his Bachelor’s degree from The University of Tampa in 2013 and his law degree from Florida State University in 2016. While in law school, Rico worked as a judicial¬†intern for the Honorable Elizabeth A. Kovachevich, U.S. District Court Judge for the Middle District of Florida in Tampa, Florida and for the Honorable Timothy J. Thomason, Superior Court Judge for the Maricopa County Superior Court in Phoenix, Arizona. Rico also served as a law clerk for Emily Eineman, Chief of Appeals for the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity and for Bodiford Law, P.A.

Rico was a member of the Florida State University College of Law’s Mock Trial Team and competed in the 2015 Florida National Trial Advocacy Tournament where he and his team won first place. His journal membership in law school included the Journal of Land Use & Environmental Law and the Business Review. He focuses his practice defending workers’ compensation claims.
