Qualifications
Camilo received his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University in 2013 and his law degree, Cum Laude, from Saint Thomas University in 2017. While attending law school, he was an active member of the Saint Thomas Moot Court Board and the Public Interest Law Society. As a member of the Moot Court Board, he competed as an advocate in the 2015 Burton D. Wechsler First Amendment Moot Court Competition in Washington DC, and as a student coach in the 2016 American Bar Association, National Appellate Advocacy Competition in Boston. In addition, he interned for the Office of the City Attorney in the City of Hollywood, where he was granted the Saint Thomas University’s pro bono award. Camilo also received the Order of the Barristers Award and is currently an active member of National Order of the Barristers.
Camilo is a licensed attorney in the State of Florida and focuses his practice on the defense of workers’ compensation claims.
