Meghan Bensted

Qualifications

Meghan received her Bachelor’s degree and law degree from Florida State University.  While in law school, she worked as a certified legal assistant in the Public Interest Law Section. She practiced in Key West and Tallahassee as an Assistant Public Defender. Meghan had a distinguished career serving as a military police officer in the United States Army.  Serving as a First Lieutenant, Meghan was awarded various medals including the Global War on Terrorism Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, the Army Commendation Medal, and a Certificate of Achievement. She is admitted to practice in the Southern and Northern District Courts of Florida. Meghan is a member of the Florida bar and concentrates her practice on the defense of workers’ compensation claims.
