Rachel received her Bachelor’s degree, Cum Laude, from the Florida State University in 2010 in criminology and psychology and her Master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University in forensic psychology. Rachel then earned her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law in 2019, where she graduated in the top 5% of her class and earned seven Cali Awards of Excellence for receiving the highest grade in the class. While at FIU Law, Rachel served as the co-President for the Negotiation and Mediation Team where she competed and coached in competitions throughout the US. During law school, Rachel interned at civil defense firms in Miami and Deerfield Beach and at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s office. Upon graduating law school, Rachel worked as an Assistant Public Defender in Miami-Dade County. Rachel is licensed to practice in Florida and focuses her practice on the defense of workers’ compensation claims in the firm’s Miami office.
