Amanda earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Economics from Hunter College of The City University of New York in 2008, and her law degree from Florida A&M University College of Law in 2021. During law school, she served as the Law School Student Liaison for the Greater Orlando Asian American Bar Association (GOAABA) (2018-2021). Amanda worked at a prominent personal injury firm in Florida as a litigation paralegal while in law school.. She was recognized by the Greater Orlando Asian American Bar Association with the Award of Excellence in 2019-2020. Amanda began her career in insurance defense in excess carrier claims in New York as a paralegal for renowned New York attorneys from 2005 to 2010. Post-graduation, Amanda worked for the largest minority and women-owned insurance defense firm in the U.S., where she practiced as a general liability and personal injury protection (PIP) insurance defense attorney. She is licensed to practice law in Florida and focuses on workers’ compensation defense at the firm’s Orlando office.
