M. George Waters graduated from Georgia State University. He obtained a law degree from Georgia State University College of Law. He is an AV rated attorney, the highest possible rating, under the Martindale-Hubbell law firm rating system. He formerly served on the Atlanta Claims Association’s Workers’ Compensation Education Committee and the Atlanta Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Executive Section Committee. He is licensed to practice in Georgia and Tennessee. He has handled numerous cases before the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court including Shaw Industries v. Scott, which was a unanimous decision by the Georgia Supreme Court in favor of the Employer/Insurer. He has participated in multiple jury trials and hundreds of hearings and/or mediations.
