Karysa received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics and Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from University of Miami in 2013, cum laude and with General Honors. She received her law degree from the College of William & Mary in 2019. Prior to law school, Karysa joined Eraclides Gelman as a law clerk and resumed this position before her final year at William & Mary. While in law school, she was a staff member of the Journal of Race, Gender, and Social Justice. Karysa is licensed to practice law in Florida and focuses her practice on the defense of workers’ compensation claims.
