Kester Avila

Qualifications

Kester earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in public policy and management from the University of Georgia in 2020 where he was a member of the Army ROTC. Later, Kester earned his law degree from Mercer University School of Law in 2024 where he was recognized as a Dean’s Scholar and a Merit Scholarship recipient. He earned the Faculty Award for Outstanding Achievement in Legal Writing and served as President of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association and Secretary of the Real Estate Law Society. Kester was also a member of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity.

Throughout law school, Kester worked at a law firm in New York where he handled personal injury, tax, and estate cases. In his third year of law school, he served as the sole legal extern for Tractor Supply Company, a Fortune 500 company. Working directly with its former General Counsel, its Senior Director and General Counsel for Petsense, and the rest of its legal leadership team, Kester contributed to projects spanning multiple legal practices.

Kester now focuses his practice on Workers’ Compensation Defense in Atlanta.
