Qualifications

Mark received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama in 1992 and his law degree from the Florida State University College of Law with high honors in 1995. His practice areas include defense of workers’ compensation and other complex injury litigation. He has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1995 (Workers’ Compensation and Entertainment Law Sections), the Jacksonville Bar Association (Workers’ Compensation Section), and the Jacksonville Claims Association. His bar memberships also include the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit. Mark previously served as Chairman of the Fourth Circuit UPL Committee for The Florida Bar and Chairman of the Fourth Circuit Grievance Committee B. He is a founding member of the Robert Williams Inns of Court. Mark is a member of the workers’ compensation committee for DRI.  He is a member of CLM. Mark is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). Mark also enjoys a strong pro bono practice and has worked extensively with the families of children who were victims of violent crime.  Mark has made appearances on national television shows including “Larry King Live,” “The O’Reilly Factor,” “The CBS Morning Show,” “Fox and Friends,” “Nancy Grace” and Court TV. Mark is an AV rated lawyer by Martindale Hubbell and has received an “Excellence in Litigation” award from CNA Insurance Company.
