Rachel Ball

Qualifications

Rachel earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology and criminal justice in 2010 at Florida State University, and then earned her Master’s degree in forensic psychology from Nova Southeastern University in 2015. Rachel then graduated in the top 7% from Florida International University School of Law in 2019. Rachel received CALI Awards for receiving the highest grade in Torts, Legal Writing I, Advanced Legal Research and Writing, Legal Skills and Values III, Constitutional Law, Florida Civil Procedure, and Criminal Procedure. While in law school, she was the President of the Negotiations and Mediations Team, where she competed and learned different strategies to use in getting the best outcome for her client. In law school, Rachel interned for various insurance defense firms and the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office, where she gained the experience of taking cases from arrest through trial post-grad as an Assistant Public Defender. Rachel previously worked at one of the largest personal injury firms in Florida as a litigation attorney. She is licensed to practice law in Florida and New York and focuses on workers’ compensation defense at the firm’s Miami office.
