JOHN’S GEORGIA TIP OF THE WEEK: Happy Halloween – Nothing Scarier than Returning to Work!
- When returning the Claimant to work via the WC-240 process, Georgia law requires approval of the light duty job description by the ATP.
- The light duty job description is generally submitted to the ATP via the WC-240a Job Analysis form. However, the specific form is not required. A written detailed job description is acceptable as well!
- TIP: Submit job descriptions for MULTIPLE light duty positions available. This way, if (when) the Claimant alleges they cannot continue one of the light duty jobs, you can simply move them to the next one!
