Greetings, as part of our Firm’s Briefly Speaking updates, a separate update is done on just the attorney fee awards so we can all track our exposure.  For January, for the cases that went to a fee hearing, the dollars awarded were:

$200/$300	$        9,100	Jacksonville

One of the bills pending before the legislature would cap the attorney fee rates, I have heard, at $250.   While this month that does not appear significant, we are regularly seeing $300-400.
